the leadership of Pastor JW Jepson for almost seven
years in student ministries.
Lead
Pastor At River Of Life
After
a meaningful and fruitful ministry in The Dalles
the Holy Spirit stirred in Zach the desire for lead
pastoring. In November of 2005 God led him to River
of Life Christian Center. He has deeply enjoyed
getting to know the church and community of the
Oregon City area.
His
Ministry & Mission
Zach
believes we don’t “go to church”
but “are the church”. He sees Christianity
as a journey with Jesus.
His
personal mission statement is:
"I am God's obedient Son, who communicates
His message
as I build authentic relationships, and leads
in the settings in which
He places me."
His
life verse is –
"…
he who began a good work in you will carry
it on
to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Philippians 1:6 – NIV
Zach is a gifted communicator and loves to preach
the Word of God with transparency, humor and creativity.
He uses many personal life stories and real life
illustrations in messages. Zach serves the community
by volunteering as a Lunch Buddy at a local elementary
school.
His
Personal Life
On September 11,
1999 Zach married Kristi, his college sweetheart,
and they are blessed with two children. Zach enjoys
playing running, basketball, soccer, and Ultimate
Frisbee. He also likes fishing--especially for bass!
He deeply values his friends and mentors.
Zach
would appreciate your prayers as he leads
River of Life Christian Center and pursues growing
as a man of God!
