About
the church in Sierra Leone:

Located near the city of Bo (central Sierra Leone,
just south of the middle of the country).

The region’s name is Gondama (Gond – “Ah”
– Ma). It was formerly a refugee camp.
-
Gondama is a Muslim community – It served as
a rebel base during the 14 year civil war.
-
Population: Between fifteen and twenty thousand people
-
200 people in the church
-
The church would like to start a Christian school
- It
is the only church in Gondama (as of winter 2007)
-
Most people live in mud-huts
- We
started supporting the church ($50.00 per month) in
April 2007.
-
Saah travels to the church once every three months
to deliver the support money and check up on the
church.
